Professional Designations

Professional designations and their related education are operated through the Building Owners and Managers Institute of Canada (BOMI Canada). BOMI Canada was founded in 1974 by members of BOMA who recognized the need for quality education in the commercial property industry. For over 35 years, BOMI has consistently provided high-quality education allowing for industry professionals to obtain the knowledge they need to work efficiently and improve performance.

 

There are two professional designations offered through BOMI Canada that are recommended for BOMA members:

• Real Property Administrator (RPA) for property managers
• Facilities Management Administrator (FMA) for facilities professionals
